We thought ComEd’s refrigerator recycling program can could do more than replace old fridges – and the Icebox Derby was born.

 

The Icebox Derby is a chance for girls in Chicagoland to turn recycled fridges into derby cars, and help them realize the possibilities of a pursuing a STEM career. So, we gave these future rocket scientists the rockstar treatment they deserve.
