One and the same.

Stand-up and advertising are the same to me. You find an insight, you dig into it, and if you’re lucky – you’ll come out with an original idea that people can relate to.

The first stand-up set I ever performed was actually for an internship in 2015 at Cramer-Krasselt. You had to answer three questions in a video (at the bottom of the video) and send it in. I thought that was super weird and filming it in an empty apartment felt even weirder. So i wrote their questions into a stand-up gig and preformed it front of a whole bunch of strangers + my roommate/cameraman at an open-mic in Uptown.

Got the interview, didn't get the gig—but I've been rocking the mic ever since.
